How in the world do I get a tan in Washington without going to a tanning salon?

Okay, so I'm REALLY pale. I mean, were talkin' vampire pale. I need to get a tan, but I live in Washington, and I'm way to young to use all that tanning cream, and acid crap. I need help. I've been made fun of a lot for my skin color, and it's getting hard to ignore it. I need answers. Please.
