I have natural dark blonde hair. I recently used Revlon Frost & Glow with the pull through cap to give it some highlights. I love it! Going to a chiropractor for shoulder weakness? Is she a quack or legit?

i tend to think that all chiropractors are quacks. I went to 2 within the past year and feel like i wasted tons of money. i should have just gone to an orthopedic doc in the first place and i could have saved myself a lot of time and money. the first chiropractor i went to took x rays and told me that the reason i was having lower back pain was because my spine needed aligned. so i continued to go and there was no change. in fact it got worse. i then went to a different chiro and that helped some but was not getting the results i wanted. when i went to the orthopedic dr they took x rays and an MRI. it sounds to me like you need an MRI so they know exactly what is going on with your muscles. it hink chiropractors can harm your injury even more. you cannot diagnose something just by looking at it. anyway, i found out that i have extreme spinal stenosis... and i would have never of found that out if i continued going to the chiro. an orthopedic dr will be able to tell you exactly what is wrong instead of telling you what they THINK may be wrong. and something like physical therapy may be better for you that being re aligned and so forth. hope i helped =) good luck

I have no idea how to take care of my hair. I use Pantene Pro-v products and they work pretty well. Why would you bring a child to a long hair salon appointment?

My dog hates Shelties?

I have a rescue border collie cross and my family and I often take him to local dog shows. He is very submissive to other dogs and he absolutely loves to play with other dogs. He is never aggressive, even if another dog is aggressive to him. However, I noticed that he is extremely aggressive to shelties/ miniature collies. Do you get any creative control over to what happens to your music once it's been recorded? Would people people actually want a dog that bites?

We're trying to rehome our dog. He's a wonderful border collie who has mastered obedience training and knows tons of tricks. He's calm, cuddly, and not at all destructive. He has biting tendencies though. He always tries to bite kids and he often bites at adults that he doesn't know if they get too close to him (and no, its not herding behavior). He's had these behaviors since he was 8 weeks old. He's actually bitten a friend, and had to be quarantined. Recently he bit another friend, but did not break skin this time. He would have bit about 100 more people by now in his life, but we're very careful. He's always been more of a shy biter, but its definitely problematic. We've worked with an animal behaviorist and 2 trainers. Our dog is quite submissive and easy to control, so he definitely knows who alfa is. The trainers both said they believe he's a good dog, but they think the breeder did something wrong to produce a dog like this. We'd keep him, except we're about to have our first baby. We're trying to rehome him, but 2 rescues have turned us down, and we're afraid we'll have to put him down. Do you think there is even a small chance that somebody out there would want a dog like this?

Hello. I just got back from the nail salon. I asked them specifically for gel nails, NOT ACRYLICS, and I'm not sure that's what they gave me. Basically they filed my nail with a little tool, glued on a tip, and then painted over it with this mixture of a "catalyst" and a powder. I thought that with gels they put your hands under a UV light, but they never did that with me. Rabbit behaviour help?

i have 2 rabbits one male and one female. i had my male rabbit first from the age of 7 weeks. in early febuary (he was 10 months old) i got him neutered as i wanted to get him a female friend. in mid april i got a female rabbit that the previous owner thinks is over 1 year old. i done lots of research on getting them used to each other and bonding them. on their first meeting my male mounted the female and he was showing dominace over her, the next time i put them together he was submissive and letting her do all the grooming and bossing around. they both slept outside in a shed with a hutch each and they had a big outdoor run joined to the shed where they could both play together. about 2 weeks ago. i started letting them sleep in the same hutch (the males hutch) and they were getting on ok. about a week ago i started to noitce the female biting the males bottom and just bossing him around, he never bites back and just sits there. so 2 days ago i went out to settle them down for the night and feed them and when i lifted the lid of the hutch to put the food in the bowl the female starts grunting and growling really loud and then lunges at the male biting him. everytime i go to put my hand in the hutch instead of biting me she bites him. i seperated them again into seperate hutches but let them play together during the day but she still growls and grunts everytime i go to put my hand into the hutch or if i even look at her when the male is beside her. .......i dont know what is wrong with her and why she is acting like that. i am getting her spayed anyway in about 3 weeks so im guessing that she may stop this behaviour? My 5 year old cairn terrier pees all the time?

My wife and I recently rescued a dog from a no kill shelter. The first month he was with us he was great except for peeing when we would put a leash on him or he got to excited. You're definitely having your doubts, which is alright, it's better to have them now than later. If you really like her maybe you can just stick it out for a little longer (at least a month?) I know I had some of those problems like what you say is her seeming somewhat weak, but in my case I did that to show him that I would be gentle and kind to him out of his harsh life and abusive father. She might just have some underlying reasons for behaving that way, but then again, she went to Catholic school... But like I said, just hold in there and give her a little more time. There wouldn't be many artists out there who would collaborate with an unsigned artist and no artist would ever listen to someone who hasn't even released some of the work yet. Dominant or submissive?

I have 4 poms, 2 older ones (M & F) & 2 1 1/2 yr M, both of which we got at the same time at 8 and 12 wks old back in Jan. of 2010. At 9 mo.old (Aug. 2010) they starting having minor aggession issues with each other ONLY-older dogs not involved. 1 day it turned aggressive with Bailey pinning Joey down. We tried to pull Bailey off Joey thinking that would do it, but Bailey was not letting go. I did a stupid thing & tried to pry his jaws open only for him to release his jaws & clamp down on my finger, which once he realized it was me, he let go. My husband & I were shocked as we never witnessed this behavior of aggression in the 20 years we have owned poms as pets. Our dogs have had fights but nothing that aggressive. The "boys" were both immediately neutered & separated until we figured out what to do. I've been told to give 1 up to solve the problem, but my dogs are my kids & I refuse to give 1 up without a fight myself. Have done a ton of research on dog aggression, how to handle it, sibling rivalry & the famous "littermate syndrome" which is the category I believe I fall under & feel really stupid that I didn't know alot of this stuff beforehand. Looking back I realize we probably should have let the fight continue & maybe it would have been settled then & there, but I was so terrified that Joey was going to get hurt that I couldn't take the risk, Bailey is 3 wks younger than Joey but also much stronger. Here is the "short" version of the steps we have taken. In Aug. they have had to be in separate rooms for about 3-4 months because they couldn't stand the sight of 1 another. Around Dec.they could at least glance at each other without being aggressive but still didn't want to be in the same room for long without trying to fight. In Jan. I decided that I needed to do more basic training with them as far as sitting, stay, wait, down, etc. & that seemed to work very well. We have been slowly reintroducing themselves to one another for the past 5 mo. now & have made GREAT progress. We are FINALLY to the point where they sometime initally growl at each other but then stop. Keep in mind they are always on leashes or we pick them up to transfer from room to room, & have NOT had any voluntary physical contact with each other whatsoever for the past 10 months. When they are in the same room, we keep them on long leashes with one being tied to one area of the room & the other tied to another area where they can just reach each other without having contact. This has gone very well on most occasions. In the past 3 weeks, we have occassionally let them have more contact (head to head) but not full body & NEVER off the leashes or without 1 of us in between them. At 1 point they were actually licking each other & play barking but eventually would both show signs of domininace with each other, paw on back, head on shoulder, etc, & then eventually lead to Bailey's stare and stance, then the warning growl, & we would quickly have to intervene So finally to the point of my question, in my research I have read that if we have 2 dominant dogs we need to decide which 1 is more dominant & then reward that dog for his dominant behavior by feeding, walking first, etc. I do not agree with this at all. I don't believe you should reward a dog for being a bully but I guess that's not the issue here. If we are to do the next step, I need to know for sure who is more dominant. We believe it is Bailey but are not sure. These are their signs. Bailey is definitely the 1st with the dominant stare & stance but usually doesn't start the dominance signs 1st as far as paw placement & usually doesn't growl first. He's more like a lion waiting for his prey type(I know that's not funny, but I'm trying to find humor in my situation) However, Joey is always more cautious if he knows Bailely is in the next room but always barks or growls first when he's coming towards Bailey. (By that I mean for example, Joey will be upstairs with my husband & when they come down, they are separated by gates but Joey knows Bailey is on the other side of the gate), When they have close contact and are behaving, Joey will ALWAYS be the 1st one to turn away from eye contact. I know this is a submissive sign but he also shows signs of dominance too. I believe Joey acts more submissive but he will definitely respond back if Bailey starts the fight which I know is understandable. But he has never shown full submission and I don't believe he ever wil Also, every time they have close contact, Joey will turn around & put his butt up to Bailey head. Bailey never does this to Joey. Is this dominance or submission? Please no lectures on being selfish & trying to keep them both.They are not in any way being neglected or deprived of anything. I agree you should have the two neutered. That usually helps. My friend had the same problem and she just had to keep them separated at all times.
