What to do with my out of control Beagle mix?

Your dad does NOT Need this dog. He needs a dog. Not a Beagle. Get another Golden....not a Lab, they spend the first 2 yrs of their lives chewing everything in sight and escaping and running away.....an Australian Shepherd is a VERY nice pet....they need to have the frisbee or tennis ball thrown every day...good exercise for your dad.....we use a tennis racket....you can get one cheap at Goodwill.....they are extremely loyal and intelligent...non destructive....ours is 6 and has yet to destroy one thing. They are very good companions.
